The Opportunity

We're seeking a top-tier Diesel Fitter/Mechanic to join our team - FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns on a 2/2 roster in Mount Isa. This role is critical in keeping our clients’ equipment running at peak performance and reliability. What You’ll Do

  • Conduct diagnostics and inspections to keep diesel engines and related systems in top shape.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on systems like fuel, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on vast array of equipment.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks (oil changes, fluid checks, etc.).
  • Keep thorough records of all work completed.
  • Prioritise safety and maintain an organised, efficient workspace.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working on mine sites and with Caterpillar equipment.
  • Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter/Mechanic.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable work.
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach and a strong sense of teamwork.
  • A willingness to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical upon hire.
