Ideal Labour Hire is a leading provider of skilled tradespeople to the construction, rail, mining, and manufacturing industries across Sydney and beyond. We are currently seeking an experienced welder to join our team.

About the Role

As a welder with Ideal Labour Hire, you will be working on various projects around Sydney. Your responsibilities will include welding and fabricating metal structures, reading and interpreting blueprints, and adhering to safety guidelines. You will work with a variety of materials, including steel and aluminium, and must have experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding machines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a boilermaker
• Trade qualifications in boilermaking or related field
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Proficient with MIG, TIG, and stick welding machines
• Strong focus on safety

Benefits

• Competitive hourly rate with opportunities for overtime
• Base rate $50-55 plus $23 daily travel allowance
• $18 Daily meal allowance (After 9.5 hours worked)
• Overtime rates for the weekend, time and half for the first 2 hours at $75 on Saturday then double time at $100 for every other hour, and Sunday double time at $100 for every hour.
