About the Role

MSS Security is looking for a Security Officer/Weighbridge Operator in Mareeba with the primary responsibility of :

• Conduct weighbridge operation and vehicle checks
• Visitor and contractor access register control
• Locking and unlocking of premises
• Respond to emergency incidents on site
• Monitor and respond to Alarms
• Induct regular visitors and contractors prior to site entry
• Monitor CCTV cameras
• Use computer systems and maintain databases as required
• Environmental Management and spill response

DIDO (drive in drive out) allowance for non locals, work a 4 days on and 4 days off roster - if you live in Cairns, Atherton, Port Douglas and surrounding areas and would love to have a career in Security Services - this role is for you.

What we are looking for:

• Current QLD Security Licence - unarmed as a minimum (must be willing to obtain)
• Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations - if you don't have a Security License - MSS will help you get one through our Scholarship Program
• QLD drivers' licence
• Current First Aid certificate - desirable
• Current CPR certificate - desirable
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and computer use
