Boilermaker

Buckley's Plant Maintenance are looking for a Boilermaker / Welder to join our team. Your role will be based at our Berkeley workshop reporting to the Fabrication manager. 

This role will require you to work efficiently and independently, taking responsibility for jobs and task completion.
You will be willing to learn and have a positive attitude.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of plant machinery and equipment and an eye for detail.

The job is a diverse position with every day being a new challenge, working on a variety of different machines.

Requirements for success:

• Relevant Trade Qualifications
• Experience in Fixed and Mobile Plant Maintenance
• Experience with mobile Line Boring
• Experience in earth moving machinery repairs
• Construction White card
• Current drivers license
   

Skills & Experience

• Experience in OXY/Thermal processes: cutting, heating, and thermal lancing.
• Carbon arc gouging experience.
• Proficient in MIG welding (multiple wire applications needed).
• Experience in mobile plant repairs 
• Keen eye for detail
• Be reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions
• Have experience with both workshop and site work
• The ability to perform continuous manual handling
