Alfa Fabrication is a steel fabrication company located in Welshpool. We undertake a variety of work, from light through to heavy steel fabrication and refurbishment work.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a capable boilermaker/welder with a view to a genuine long term full time position.

About You

• Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
• Sound fabrication skills/experience
• Competent MIG, Flux Core & Oxy skills
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings & work accurately to plan
• Able to work on your own or as part of a team
• Forklift ticket

Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:

• Carry out a wide variety fo fabrication, welding and refurbishment work
• Operate welders, grinders, drills, saws, over head cranes, forklifts etc. in a safe manner and competent manner.
