Your new role:

Reporting to the Senior AP & Payroll Administrator, the role of Accounts Payable Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expenses. 

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Maintain administrative ownership of our internal system, Redmap, ensuring all invoices are coded and authorised in a timely manner.
• Completion of daily bank reconciliations.
• Prepare month-end journals.
• Process employee expenses.
• Process Trade Finance & Loan Facility applications 
• Produce monthly AP reconciliation reports.
• Prepare and process foreign currency invoices and payments, ensuring validity against shipments processed.
• Performing domestic and international payments.
• Building strong internal and external relationships.
• Provide support to the payroll function when required.

The toolkit you'll possess to ensure your success in the role: 

• Previous experience in a fast paced accounts payable environment where you have taken ownership of the end to end accounts payable function. 
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Some exposure or an interest in payroll is advantageous, but not essential.
• Process and compliance driven.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to reason effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• An excellent team-player attitude and are willing to roll-up your sleeves to get things done.
