About Active Appliance Repairs

Active Appliance Repairs is a rapidly growing and expanding business that has been established for over 88 years within the western suburbs of Melbourne. Located in Hopper Crossing we have a great reputation for being a reputable and professional organisation servicing domestic appliances / white goods.

About the role

• We require 1-3 qualified Field Service Technicians 

• Full-time

• Permanent role

• 8 hour day weekdays with weekends off

• Travel to customers' premises & work at company workshop

• Fault find

• Service, repair and/or replace a wide variety of home appliances / white goods

• Appliances include : Ovens, cook tops, rangehoods, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, to name a few

• Ensure all appliance and repair information, parts and usage is well documented

• Complete all necessary forms and electronic service invoices

• Professionally handle and resolve all issues within company guidelines

• Continually maintain stock levels and appearance of company vehicle

About you

• Be able to identify and fix the problem at the initial visit

• Be competent in reading and interpreting drawings and plans

• Be able to work either on customers' premises or at company's workshop

• Have a great customer service attitude

• Attention to detail

• Must be an Australian Resident with no work restrictions  

Qualifications and Experience

• Current Manual Victorian Drivers License 

• Experience in a similar role

• Must be able to diagnose and repair white good appliances
