Generation Painting Contractors Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team in Perth, WA 6000. This full-time role will involve performing high-quality painting and decorating work for residential and commercial properties across the region.

What you'll be doing

Preparing surfaces for painting, including washing, scraping, sanding, and priming
Applying paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces
Mixing and matching paint colours to client specifications
Ensuring a clean and tidy work environment throughout the project
Offering advice and suggestions to clients on colour schemes and decorating options
Maintaining equipment and tools in good working condition
Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
Maintenance work

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a professional Painter & Decorator, preferably in the residential and commercial sectors
Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings
An eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
Good communication and customer service skills
Flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously
A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
