Job tasks and responsibilities 

In this role you will be required to assist with a variety of duties including but not limited to: 

• Asbestos Removal both A & B Class 

• Maintain (as far as possible) a tidy work area 

• Use power tools and hand tools to strip out walls and other fittings 

• Operate equipment and work safely in accordance with safety procedures 

• Move and load waste material into trucks and/or bins 

• Ability to turn up on time and at short notice

Skills and experience 

To be successful in securing a position with The J Group you must fit the following criteria: 

• Proven experience in asbestos removal. 

• Asbestos Removal ticket A or B Class.

• White card 

• Car and licence a must. 

• Must have excellent communication skills and 'Can Do' attitude 

• Ability to work to specific instructions 

• Be able to work at a fast pace and in a team environment 

• Provide any extra construction tickets (not essential)
