There is the opportunity for 40 hours per week and plenty of overtime available. The work is Monday to Friday with 8+ hour days (Paid lunch break). 

Along with opportunity to work away and be paid to travel.

Working as Telco worker (Cable hauler, Rod & Roper or Civils Labourer), you will be working on the footpath in pits and Man Holes within the telecommunications network. Any previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous. Main focus on Cable Hauling , Rod & Roping & Telecommunications civils.

Minimum requirements to be considered for these roles include:

• White Card

• Driver's License (able to drive manual)

• First Aid certificate with CPR

• Ability to pass Fit for Work assessment and Drug and Alcohol testing

• Ability to complete online registration

• Ability to complete comprehensive online inductions

• Physically fit

Preferred requirements:

• Pit, Pipe & Cable Hauling certificate

• Experience in Cable Hauling.

• HR, MR or LR Truck Licence

• Experience Concreting & Paving

• Traffic management ticket

• Confined space ticket

• Civils experience

• Experience using a Vacuum Truck

Additionally desired experience:

• Locating underground services

• ACM removal B Class

• Laying concrete pads or driveways

• Installing Telecommunications pits & Trenching

• Gas testing atmosphere   

• Safely working near power as a non-electrical worker  

• Experience thriving on pressure to meet daily & weekly Targets

• Police clearance within 6 months

The role is for a Cable Hauler/ Rod & Roper, Civils Labourer in a team that will be conducting Hauling work, Rod & Roping, scoping the Telstra network and civils works. Work is all over the state and some remote work may be required as part of the role. (LAFHA is paid on applicable work)

Successful applicant will be hired as a casual employee while being offered consistent 8+ hour days Monday to Friday most weeks.

Current work contract is expected to run for the next 4+ years, further opportunities to progress within the company are available.
