About the role

We are seeking experienced Tailors, Dressmakers and Clothing Alterations Specialists to join our team in our Fortitude Valley location. Both permanent (full time / part time) and casual positions available. These positions offer the opportunity to work in a well-established business and apply your expertise in tailoring and clothing alterations.

What you'll be doing

• Providing high-quality tailoring, dressmaking and clothing alterations services to our customers

• Measuring clients, discussing their requirements, and creating custom alterations to ensure a perfect fit

• Performing a range of sewing and repair tasks, including hemming, taking in or letting out garments, and repairing rips or damage

• Advising customers on the best alterations solutions for their needs

• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient workstation

• Following all company policies and procedures to deliver exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Tailor, Dressmaker or Clothing Alterations Specialist, with a strong background in sewing and garment construction

• Excellent hand-eye coordination, dexterity and attention to detail

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

• Flexibility to work across 7 days, including weekends as required

• A passion for fashion and clothing, and a keen eye for style and fit
