The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring food safety, maintaining quality standards, and compliance with specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. The Quality Assurance Supervisor also assumes the responsibility of shift supervision, ensuring that all aspects of food safety, quality standards, and compliance are maintained during their designated shifts.  Moreover, in the absence of the Head of QA due to leave or any other reason, the QA Supervisor takes charge, overseeing all QA operations and ensuring continuity in adherence to specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. This includes managing personnel, conducting inspections, and addressing any issues that may arise to uphold the integrity of the QA processes within bakery and warehouse operations.

Task & Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will be but not limit to:

• Supervise daily QA activities and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Maintain and update HACCP, WSE, and food safety programs, including audits and reviews.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality and safety issues.
• Coordinate and deliver staff training on quality, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Monitor GMP compliance and lead internal audits across production and warehouse areas.
• Manage supplier approvals and product specifications in line with regulatory requirements.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, analyzing trends to improve systems.
• Support third-party audits and ensure accurate documentation and certification readiness.
• Oversee pest control and sanitation programs to maintain a safe production environment.
• Act as quality lead in the absence of the Head of Quality to ensure continuity and compliance.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience in lieu of formal qualifications
• At least 3 years of relevant full -time work experience
