Task & responsibilities

• Verifies the accuracy of loading documents, checks the condition of goods being transported, and obtains certification of deliveries to ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Maneuvers vehicles into position for efficient loading and unloading operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and space requirements.
• Ensures that goods are properly stowed and securely covered to prevent loss, damage, or shifting during transit.
• Conducts regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe and operational condition, identifying and reporting any issues that need maintenance.
• Utilizes lifting and tipping devices to load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Estimates weights of loads to comply with load limitations and ensures the safe distribution of weight within vehicles to maintain balance and stability.
• Observes and adheres to safety requirements and regulations during the loading and unloading of vehicles to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualification & experience

• At least 1 years or more experience in driving HC Truck
• You will be able to follow instructions and work autonomously
• You must have excellent punctuality and the ability to complete deliveries in a timely manner
• You must have Full Rights to work in Australia
• You must have a high attention towards Safety
