Task & Responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose mechanical faults in engines, transmissions, and related components.
• Dismantle engine assemblies, steering systems, and other parts for inspection and repairs.
• Repair or replace defective components using appropriate tools and reference manuals.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, and engine tuning.
• Reassemble mechanical systems and ensure all parts function smoothly.
• Use diagnostic equipment to evaluate system faults and monitor engine performance.
• Assess vehicles for roadworthiness and advise on any necessary repairs.
• Test and calibrate mechanical components after repairs to confirm performance.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum of Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with diagnostic software and mechanical testing tools.
