Metal Fabricator and Farm Hand

We are seeking a skilled, dedicated  individual to join the team as a metal fabricator and a helping hand on the farm. This position has plenty of variety  but mainly metal fabrication.

 

Responsibilities :

-          Welding, repairing , adjusting and re-conditioning machinery  essential for the production line

-          Diagnosing malfunctions, performing repairs and replacements

-          Maintaining equipment whether it is packing machinery or farming machinery

-          Replacing electric motors, replacing belts on machines

-          Fabrication of new equipment

-          Being prepared for an emergency breakdown on production line or maintenance on farm equipment

-          Following work instructions and maintaining records to QA and safety as directed

-          Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained to a high standard

-          Operating farm equipment such as tractors and other machinery

-          Assisting with irrigation installation, maintenance and repairs

-          Performing any other reasonable duties requested by management

Requirements :

-          Experience with maintenance production machinery (preferable)

-          Drivers license (essential)

-          Forklift and MR license (preferable)

-          Ability to learn, work independently and available for Saturday shift

-          Reliable and logical thinker

-          Experience or knowledge of machinery and farm operation (preferable)
