About the Role

We are seeking a commercially minded and hands-on General Manager – Finance to lead the Finance and Administration function at Black Rubber, based in Adelaide, SA. This is a full-time, executive-level role reporting directly to the CEO of Black Rubber and working closely with the NTAW Group Finance team.

As GM Finance, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, reporting, budgeting, payroll, inventory control, and administrative systems across the business. This is a pivotal leadership role that combines strategic oversight with operational delivery – perfect for a finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, commercial environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the delivery of accurate, timely monthly financial and management reporting

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial performance analysis

• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and audit readiness

• Supervise accounts payable, receivable, inventory, payroll, and administrative systems

• Provide financial and commercial advice to support executive decision-making

• Partner with Sales and Operations teams on pricing, service, stock, and reporting

• Collaborate with the NTAW Group CFO and Financial Controller on reporting, audit, and compliance

• Lead, develop, and support a Finance & Admin team of 5

• Foster a high-performing team culture aligned with NTAW’s values of Decent, Innovative, Collaborative, Energetic (DICE)

What We’re Looking For

• CA/CPA qualified, or actively progressing

• Proven experience in a senior finance or finance manager role

• Strong commercial acumen with hands-on financial leadership skills

• Advanced Excel skills and confidence with financial systems (ERP experience desirable)

• Demonstrated experience managing teams, ideally across multiple sites or functions

• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and sound judgment

• Clear, confident communication skills with both internal stakeholders and external partners

• Exposure to stock/inventory, audit processes, and customer reporting is advantageous

• Experience in the tyre, automotive, or service-based industries will be highly regarded
