We specialise in fuel tank installations, pipework and bowser installations, underground tank relining, fuel station decommissioning, soil remediation works, and fuel & water monitoring systems.

All applicants must have prior experience working on a service station.

About the Role:

Aust Fuel Petroleum is seeking a Fuel System Installer/Offsider/Fitter. The position is full-time and available for immediate start. The position will involve:

• Installation of fuel equipment and systems including underground and aboveground tanks

• Installation of fuel pipework for suction and pressurised systems

• Commissioning of fuel dispensing equipment

• Assisting with site preparation - set out, concrete cutting, minor and bulk excavation works 

• Assisting with site and tank decommissioning

• Installation of hazardous areas electrical rough-in 

• Reinstatement of concrete

• Assist fibreglass technicians with underground tank relining works

Working Conditions:

• Workshop based in Caloundra, Sunshine Coast

• Working within hazardous areas

• Out of area travel and work required

• Monday to Friday hours (no weekend work)

Skills & Abilities:

The successful applicant will have:

• Prior fuel installation experience essential

• Fitter, mechanical, electrical, carpentry or plumbing trade experience desirable but not mandatory

• Current drivers' license

• Knowledge of safe work practices and WH&S

• Valid Construction Induction Card 

• Diverse skillset of specialised construction equipment

• Positive and friendly attitude

• Ability to work within a team and unsupervised 

• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
