About Basic Trailers
We’re a proudly Australian-owned trailer manufacturer based in Pooraka. Our team builds everything in-house — no subcontractors, no site delays — just consistent, hands-on work in a clean, structured workshop.

About the Role
This full-time role is all about fit-out, install, and finish. You’ll be assembling and installing trailer components — doors, panels, trims, accessories — and keeping the work clean, aligned and done right. We’re looking for practical people from signage, aircon, roller shutters, blinds, or other fit-out backgrounds who are confident on the tools and ready to learn new skills.

Training in welding and prefab provided if you’re keen to expand.

Key Responsibilities
• Install doors, trims, locks, hinges and other hardware
• Fit aluminium panels (ACM) and trailer accessories
• Use rivet guns, adhesives, drills, hand tools and power tools
• Follow build plans and checklist-driven work orders
• Keep your area organised and your work consistent
• Support welding and prefab (training provided)

What We’re Looking For
• Experience in signage, ducting, blinds, shutters, or similar installs
• Hands-on, reliable and good with tools
• Strong attention to finish — you care about straight lines and clean results
• Comfortable working off basic plans or instructions
• Open to learning welding and other workshop systems
• Team player with a solid work ethic
