Due to continued growth, we are seeking two qualified and experienced Light Vehicle Mechanics to join our busy workshop in full-time, permanent positions.

The roles will involve comprehensive servicing, repairs, and diagnostics of a wide range of petrol, diesel, and hybrid light vehicles.

Task & Responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose mechanical faults in engines and related components.
• Disassemble and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems, and other vehicle parts for inspection.
• Repair or replace worn and defective components, following technical manuals as needed during reassembly.
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune-ups to enhance vehicle performance and meet environmental standards.
• Reassemble engines and related parts after completing repairs.
• Test and fine-tune mechanical systems post-repair to ensure optimal performance.
• Use computerised diagnostic tools to assess the condition and functionality of vehicle systems.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum one year of experience as a Motor Mechanic. 
• Ability to follow instructions and able to understand technical manuals.
• Minimum Certificate 3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
