Screen Printer

• Based at Ingleburn, NSW

• Permanent, full time role

• Day shift (spread of hours: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm)

We are seeking an experienced Screen Printer on day shift (who is flexible to support us during the afternoon shift in times of need) to join the team at Ingleburn. Reporting to Team Leader – Print, in this role you will be responsible for operating the screen press to produce high quality end products to meet customer requirements.

 

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately, ensuring optimal production with minimal waste;

•  Produce high-quality end products that meet customer service level agreements (SLAs);

• You will ensure inventory levels meet production demands, including printer-related items;

• You will be able to troubleshoot and problem-solve to minimise unexpected downtime and also assist in user training where necessary;

• Identify errors, make corrections, and consult/escalate issues as required to ensure high-quality control; and

• Follow security, quality, OH&S and operating policies and procedures.

 

Skills and experience:

• Trade qualified screen printer;

• Experience operating the latest screen-printing presses;

• Hold necessary trade qualifications;

• Experience in screen preparation;

• Ability to produce high quality products and work to deadlines;

• High attention to detail, accuracy and numerical ability;

• You will also have experience working with quality processes and security requirements;

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and sound communication skills, both written and verbal;

• A strong work ethic, punctual and reliable, ability to work well within a team and autonomously with minimal supervision; and

• A willingness to learn, someone who is a self-starter and can demonstrate high level of initiative.
