About the role
MG Electrical Services Pty Ltd is seeking an energetic and dedicated Qualified Electrician / Linesman and an Electrical Apprentice to join our team in Alice Springs, NT. Both positions are full-time, where you will provide leadership, learn the trade and gain hands-on experience in the electrical and linesman fields.
FIFO can be considered for the Qualified applicants.
What you'll be doing - Qualified Electrician / Linesman
- Bring leadership and mentoring skills
- Participate in the testing and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and systems
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
What you'll be doing - Apprentice Electrician
- Assist experienced electricians and linesmen in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and power lines
- Gain practical knowledge of electrical theory, wiring, equipment and safety procedures
- Complete formal training and on-the-job learning to become a qualified electrician and linesman
- Participate in the testing and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and systems
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
What we're looking for
- A keen interest in the electrical and linesman trades
- Ability to read and interpret Electrical Drawings
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Good physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- The ability to work remote as required
- A valid driver's licence
