We are looking for an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks, including diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on lightweight vehicles, with a focus on high-quality workmanship. Task & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical parts of lightweight vehicles, including engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and brakes. 
• Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre services. 
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve OBD system issues and perform module programming and calibrations. 
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble engines, replacing faulty components as needed. 
• Conduct wheel alignments, pressure checks, mounting, and balancing of tyres. 
• Replace or repair body components like bumpers and lights, ensuring vehicle safety and appearance. 
• Operate and maintain automotive tools and equipment, ensuring a clean and organized workspace. 
• Communicate effectively with team members to maintain an efficient workflow. 
• Assist in customer consultations to explain necessary repairs and provide estimated timeframes. 
• Perform tyre-related duties, including wheel alignments, mounting, balancing, and pressure checks. 
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure equipment is in proper working condition.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Motor Mechanic or in a similar role. 
• Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Light Vehicle) or equivalent. 
• Proven skills in diagnosing, repairing, and servicing lightweight vehicles.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and automotive software.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality service. 
• Valid driver’s license preferred
