• Experienced Nanny required to support family with two small children
• Some general light housekeeping required
• Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm; with the flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends
• Sunbury location

We are seeking an experienced Nanny for approximately 3-6 months to support our family based in Sunbury, Melbourne Victoria. 

As well as providing basic care and being a nurturing support to our two children (ages 6 months and 6.5 years), the role will involve assisting with general light housekeeping duties on a day-to-day basis.

General duties may include:

• Managing the school run for our older child; both drop-offs and collection
• Changing nappies and assisting with feeding
• Supporting parents with soothing and establishing baby sleeping and feeding routines
• Playing with and reading to children
• Provide support with homework and afterschool activities
• Assisting with laundry
• Assist in meal preparation and simple cooking to recipes as required
• Assist with light household duties including tidying and keeping the home environment clean and organised
• Running basic household errands and essential grocery shopping

Our ideal nanny will be capable of managing the various household tasks with ease and efficiency, whilst also helping to create a stable, reassuring and nurturing environment for our children. We’re looking for someone who has good energy levels, a mature and calm approach and the ability to build relationships with the whole family.

Key Requirements and Experience:

• Previous experience as a nanny or in childcare is essential, ideally with both babies and young children
• A qualification or diploma in Childcare will be highly regarded
• Previous experience with house-keeping duties is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and a patient, warm and nurturing manner
• Must be highly reliable and trustworthy, with a track record of working with honesty and integrity at all times
• A valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
• A valid First Aid and CPR accreditation is required, along with practical knowledge of infant care and safety
• A valid Working with Children Check is essential, and candidate must be willing to obtain a Police Check
• You must also be able to supply at least two references from previous relevant employment, who can speak to your experience and qualifications in childcare.
