Bassett's Remedial and Painting is a Sydney based company specialising in painting large scale Strata and commercial painting projects.

At times our work involves difficult access projects therefore Rope Access, EWP's, Working at heights tickets would help yet not essential and pay would adjust accordingly.

Experience in Remedial works such as light render repairs and using a caulking gun would be great but also not essential. 

Looking for qualified painters with at least 2 years of experience of the trade.   

We are looking for new employees that work well in a group who have a positive attitudes and are punctual. 

 

Full Time work available for the right candidates.  

 

Qualifications & Experiences but not essential.

 

• EWP tickets above 11 meters

• ARAA or IRATA ticket any level

• Qualified Painter or 5 Years Experience.

• Working safe at heights

• White card (construction induction)

 

Tasks & responsibilities

 

• Painting for Strata Companies and and residential properties.

• Working on Ladders, Scaffold, EWPs, and Rope Access if you are certified.

• Remedial skills are greatly appreciated otherwise training will be given.

• Able to work on your own and able to work with a small team.

• Have an eye for detail.

• Have your own transport.

• Setting up ladders, and drop sheets to protect surrounding areas from paint splatters.

• Preparing surfaces by removing old paint, repairing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and ensuring surfaces are smooth and sealed.

• Applying paints, varnishes, and stains using brushes, rollers, or sprays to achieve high-quality finishes.

• Cleaning equipment and work areas thoroughly to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
