As a Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. You will work both independently and collaboratively to ensure vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Task & Responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose mechanical issues in engines, systems, and components.
• Disassemble engines, transmissions, and steering systems to assess wear or damage.
• Repair or replace defective parts and reassemble mechanical systems using service manuals as guidance.
• Conduct scheduled servicing including oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups to improve performance and maintain emission compliance.
• Reassemble engines and mechanical systems post-repair with precision.
• Test, tune, and adjust mechanical components to ensure optimal function.
• Use diagnostic equipment and software to troubleshoot and validate repairs.
• Perform vehicle inspections and, if licensed, issue roadworthy certificates or advise on necessary repairs.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant hands-on experience.
• Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of attention to detail.
