Well Established Print company on the Northern Beaches of Sydney providing Commercial, Digital & wide format Printing for a variety of Clients across Australia.

Qualifications & experience

• Qualification not mandatory: Certificates III or IV Level

• Work Experience: At least 5 years work experience in the Printing Industry

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Monitoring, evaluating, and determining press operations manually and by computer to check print quality standards against proofs and detect malfunctions.

• Loading paper into feeding mechanisms.

• Preparation of Imposition formats ,using Digital Imposition software to create and run print jobs on Digital and Lithographic presses.

• Create and produce material to meet client’s requirement.

• Scan and process image for reproduction.

• Monitoring machine operations and quality of printing.

• Prepare Proof for clients.

• Setting, adjusting, and monitoring substrate-feed mechanisms, delivery mechanisms, and other printing machine functions.

• Cut material according to requirement.

• Using different designing and production software including Adobe Creative Suite, 

• Undertaking maintenance, adjustment, repair, and cleaning of machines.

• Producing and managing digital print images and transferring and outputting images.

• set up and operate paper and bookbinding guillotines, folding machines.

• Strong organizational skills

• Understanding of the processes of graphic design and printing
