About the role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Butcher to join our team at Perry Quality Meats' in Manning, WA 6152. As a full-time Retail Butcher, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and high-quality meat products to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

• Cutting, trimming, and packaging a variety of fresh meat products for display
• Providing knowledgeable and friendly customer service, offering advice and recommendations on meat selection and preparation
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment and work areas are properly cleaned
• Assisting with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Contributing to the overall success and growth of the business

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Retail Butcher or similar role in the meat industry
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers
• Excellent knife skills and the ability to efficiently and safely cut, trim, and pack a variety of meat products
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a retail butchery environment
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to contributing to the overall success of the business
