This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about engine repair and maintenance, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

As a Heavy Diesel Engine Mechanic, you will complete repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a heavy vehicle workshop under supervision. You will follow documented procedures and policies to ensure successful completion of repairs and maintenance.

Task & Responsibilities

- Perform basic engine repairs and scheduled maintenance on heavy vehicles following company guidelines.

- Disassemble, inspect, and clean heavy vehicle engines or engine components.

- Assist with completing necessary documentation, such as work orders, timesheets, and warranty claims.

- Participate in continuous learning and training to meet skill and business requirements.

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all tools are in proper working order.

Education and Experience:

- At least a Certificate III qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
- At least two years of relevant work experience.
- Preferred: Apprentice Trained Engine Technician.
- Preferred: Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution.
- Preferred: Valid local driving permit.
