We are looking for new Retail Counter Sales Assistant working in our front of house at Bridgestone Service Centre Huonville.

Your primary role will be sales and customer solutions. You will be speaking directly with customers, ensuring a positive experience for customers and that their automotive needs are being met.

Our ideal person will have experience within the industry, either as a former mechanic (or with strong mechanical understanding) or with some industry administrative and/or sales background that is relevant to the role.  They will need to have good sales skills, a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, and be well presented.  Good administration and time management competence, with computer experience with an ability to use industry systems. Training for the role will be given. 

The primary duties include;

• Customer Service/Communication/Sales

• Answering phones

• Management of customer tyre and mechanical bookings

• Quotes for tyres and mechanical sales

• Assisting and finalising repair orders/invoices including cash handling and EFTPOS

• Tyre and auto advice and sales.

• Work cohesively with the workshop to ensure successful completion of work orders.

• Discussion with manager regarding organizing and tracking stock/parts.

• Order of parts and tyres

• General administrative tasks

Job Requirements 

• Customer service/sales experience (automotive industry preferred but not essential) with at least two years experience.

• Ability to sell and promote products and services.

• Exceptional customer service skills – Ability to handle anything from everyday inquiries to complex solutions.

• Excellent communication & problem-solving skills – Ability to handle challenges and problem solve solutions for customers.
