Oil King Pty Ltd is currently looking for an experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to work full-time in Baringa, Queensland.

As a Motor Mechanic at Oil King Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards of safety and reliability. You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, perform routine maintenance, and ensure that all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and workshop standards.

Benefits

Salary range is AU$75,000.00 to AU$85,000.00 per year plus superannuation depending on work experience.

Task & responsibilities

• Extensive experience in repairs and maintenance in line with the manufacturer’s requirements for vehicle makes and models.
• The ability to perform scheduled maintenance servicing.
• The capacity to service and repair vehicles as per the repair order with the budgeted time.
• Ensure quality assurance in car repairs and maintenance.
• Clearly explain technical issues of cars to customers.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good diagnostics capabilities.
• Follow up shop's health and safety procedures.

Qualification & experience

• At least Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• At least one year full-time work experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic.
• A strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues.
• The ability to work in a team environment.
