A skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic is required. As a Motor Mechanic, you will be essential in maintaining, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to ensure their safety, reliability and performance. You will start working under a supervisor and with adynamic team.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in automotive technology and be part of a workshop that values quality and precision in every repair.

Task & Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical problems and dismantle other vehicle components to evaluate wear and damage.
Repair or replace faulty or worn-out parts, following service manuals and industry standards.
Carry out routine maintenance, such as oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune-ups, to enhance performance and comply with emissions regulations.
Work under supervision to develop skills in reassembling engines and components, ensuring proper fitting and thorough testing of all parts.
Perform roadworthiness inspections, issue certificates, and advise customers on required repairs.
Respond to vehicle breakdowns and deliver efficient on-site repair solutions.
Explain vehicle issues and repair options to customers, offering clear cost estimates and maintenance recommendations.
Work under supervision to develop effective communication skills for discussing issues and providing solutions to customers.

Qualification & Experience

Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology and Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis.
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a Motor Mechanic role.
The applicant can start at entry level and enhance their skills to grow senior level.
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and efficiency.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
