We are seeking applications for qualified and competent Diesel Motor Mechanic with the skills and experience to become one of our long-term valued team members.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of trucks and heavy vehicles.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are in optimal working condition, adhering to safety standards, and performing preventative maintenance.

You should be comfortable using diagnostic tools and equipment and have a strong understanding of vehicle systems and components.

This position requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Task & Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Perform routine maintenance and care.
Repair and replace faulty parts and components.
Conduct inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Qualification & Experience

Relevant Heavy Vehicle Trade Certificate

Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour.
