Due to continued growth, we currently have an opportunity for an organised and experienced Accountant to join our busy Finance and Administration team.  Working in a vibrant, energetic and busy environment, and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer you will need to hit the ground running in this fast paced and high performing dealership.

Working in a dynamic team environment and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer this role will be responsible for:

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts in an accurate and timely manner, and in accordance to accounting standards
• Undertake Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Depreciation and fixed asset register maintenance
• Report preparation & input to analysis of P&L statements
• Collation and analysis of financial data for other departments internally on request
• Assist in the statutory tax reporting namely, GST, LCT, FBT and PAYG
• Cash flow management
• Assist in external audit preparation/requirements
• Manufacturer reporting
• Effective communication with Managers and employees alike from various departments
• Providing input into the development and review of policies and procedures from a financial management best practice perspective. Identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations. 

We are keen to hear from applicants who are CPA/CA qualified or nearing the completion of their studies towards these qualifications.  The successful candidate will also possess the following:

• Relevant Degree qualification
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Have advanced computer skills
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Be highly organised, energetic and motivated
• Reliable and punctual
• Have excellent time management skills
• Able to work autonomously
• Automotive Industry Experience (Highly Desirable)
