UGL are currently looking for experienced Transmisson Linesperson (cert3) to join our Utilities division supporting our Genex Project.  

The project is based in North Queensland and will be based on a FIFO 19/9 Roster!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Climbing of transmission structures 
• Upgrade and construction of new and existing assets
• Study and interpret technical drawings, network line diagrams and maps
• Liaise with Network Operator Inspectors and customers
• Complete comprehensive risk assessments
• Maintain work in progress plans
• Installing and maintaining conductors, aerial equipment, and underground cables 
• Installing and maintaining all associated electrical supply equipment 
• Attending to electrical breakdowns and emergencies.
• Adhering to site specific health and safety policies and procedures.

About You

• Experience working on Transmission lines
• Trade Certificate (Certificate 3 Transmission Linesman) - Desirable
• Construction White Card
• Work at Heights 
• Tower Rescue
• EWP
• Dogging and Rigging licence
• High risk work licence 
• First Aid and CPR Trained (Desirable)
