MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:• Perform all welding work with help of forming and cutting equipment• Perform efficient welding of various metal objects with help of MIG gas torch and welder (Silicone Bronze & Mild Steel)• Perform work with help of various hand and power tools• Administer all welding activities such as riveting and welding small parts and finished products• Evaluate finished products and perform quality checks on products. • Evaluate all engineering drawings and ensure implementation according to welding specifications. • Assist with loading and unloading trucks • Assist in additional factory and yard duties as required SKILLS & EXPERIENCEQualifications:• Metal Fabricator – First Class would be an advantage• Experience in WHS , Quality & Environmental Management would be an advantage• Forklift Licence would be an advantageExperience:• 3 years previous experience in an similar role/industrySkills:• Must be able to read drawings for fabrication• MIG welding and fabrication experience• Ability to learn internal company OMS systems• Excellent verbal and written communication• Organised and able to meet deadlines• Well presented and committed to their employment PERFORMANCE GOALS:• Always reliable and attends work daily on time• Complete tasks on time meeting deadlines• Deal with clients, suppliers and other employees professionally at all times• Ensure Workshop is clean and presentable at all times• Complete tasks safely and to a high quality• Ensure Workplace safety in the Fabrication Workshop and yard
