Having a large pipeline of work scheduled ahead, our client is looking to quickly grow their team of Boilermakers & Welders. Based in the north western suburbs, your knowledge and experience working with heavy structural steel will see you working on large scale, landmark projects.

Paying an excellent pay rate of up to $53.12p/h + penalties, you will be working plenty of hours a week (circa 56 hours Monday to Saturday when very busy) and you will be well rewarded for your hard work. Delivering quality work, focusing on safety, and bringing a positive energy in a team environment will be equally important.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience with reading shop drawings and working to standards for Boilermakers
• Experience with MIG, FCAW and SAW for structural projects (heavy fabrication) for Welders
• Engineering Fabrication Certificate III or welding tickets OR extensive experience in heavy structural steel
• Previous experience in steel fabrication and/or metal trades
• A heavy industrial/heavy structural background
• Willingness to work extended hours as required
• A commitment to safe work practices
• Ability to produce quality work at a fast pace
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
