We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Apprentice Machinists. This is an opportunity to gain practical experience while learning to operate both manual and state of the art CNC machines, such as lathes, milling machines, and presses, to produce precision parts and instruments.

As an Apprentice Machinist, you will work under the supervision of experienced professionals, gaining valuable skills in machining, maintenance, and quality control, all while ensuring adherence to industry safety and quality standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Learn to set up and operate mills, lathes, and presses to machine parts to precise specifications.
• Study work orders and production drawings to understand machining tasks.
• Monitor machine operations and perform basic maintenance to ensure smooth performance.
• Assist in identifying and resolving machine malfunctions.
• Comply with all health and safety requirements during machine operation.
• Collaborate with management and the production team to ensure production goals are met.

What We Are Looking For:

• A strong interest in learning precision machining and manufacturing.
• Willingness to enrol in TAFE courses as part of the apprenticeship training program.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Prior experience with precision measuring instruments is preferred, though not required.
• Must hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid vehicle license.
• Forklift license preferred but not essential.
