Task & responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose engine and mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Replace and repair faulty or worn parts, referencing service manuals and manufacturer guidelines.
• Reassemble mechanical components and engines after repairs are completed.
• Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems, and other components for inspection.
• Perform scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups to maintain vehicle efficiency and meet environmental standards.
• Conduct computer-assisted diagnostics and fault testing.
• Test and fine-tune mechanical parts and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect vehicles for roadworthiness and provide detailed reports on any required repairs for certification.

Qualification & experience

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent automotive qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant hands-on experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, diagnostic procedures, and vehicle safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service.
