We are looking for a motivated and qualified Diesel Motor Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel vehicles and machinery. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and passionate about automotive technology.

Task & Responsibilities

Identify and diagnose engine and mechanical faults using advanced tools and diagnostic systems.
Disassemble engine units, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components to inspect and assess condition.
Repair or replace worn or defective components and reassemble systems, using service manuals and technical diagrams as needed.
Carry out regular servicing, including oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune-ups to ensure smooth operation and compliance with environmental standards.
Reassemble repaired engines and mechanical parts with precision and care.
Test and calibrate components to ensure optimal performance post-repair.
Use computer diagnostic tools to assess faults and performance issues.
Inspect vehicles to determine roadworthiness and, if licensed, issue certificates or report required rectifications.

Qualification & Experience

Certificate III in Automotive Diesel Engine Technology or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in diesel vehicle maintenance and repair.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with modern mechanical tools and computer-based diagnostic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality service.
